A medium stiffness, tactile switch with a soft click. The 3rd generation of White Cherry MX switches started in 2007, and are very similar to Cherry MX Greens.

Typing with these switches is great. The higher than normal actuation force makes it super easy to get used to only pressing the key down halfway, thus slightly increasing my typing speed. Gaming is great as well, though I stick to RPGs and Racing.

If you like Cherry MX Blacks, you may like these even more. Their special design causes their resistance to increase sharply once you're past the actuation point, so they're the best switch for quick typing without "bottoming out".

Great in theory, mediocre in reality. Blues may be too loud for some, and that is where one may consider whites. However, the sound is dampened by lubricant which, in many cases, actually eliminates the click entirely, making this just a heavy brown.
