Often referred to as 'stiffer' browns. As a tactile switch without click and acoustic feedback, the CHERRY MX Clear is the sister model of the MX Brown. With an actuation force of 65 centinewton, the required force is slightly higher. The Cherry MX Clear is sometimes used as the space bar for keyboards with MX Brown switches.

8 for gaming - the switch is too heavy. This will heavily fatigue your fingers and your fingers will hurt badly after a long gaming session. 10 for typing - the switch is heavy so it prevents mis-click and you do not have to worry about actuating the wrong key. I personally like this Cherry MX Clear, it is really good for typing and after I own it - my accuracy has gone up, but the trade-off is t

If you want tactility, these are the switches for you. Give them a week to break in and once they do, there's nothing like it.

I'm a heavy-handed typist who just got these a couple days ago, and I already love them. They are extremely comfortable, and I have far less hand pain at the end of my day than I have for the past several months. The bounceback isn't too heavy and the resistance is perfect for me. I would recommend Clears to other typists who find they use too much force on a regular basis or perhaps have fine mot

I love my Cherry Clears especially for quiet. Heavier hands get sore when hovering over ligher switches, it's awesome to rest my fingers on the springs just before actuation, then play with return force. Clears, Buckliing, and Whites each allow this differently. I'm happy to have them all. Clears are predictable. The tactile bump is larger than Whites, fatter, less detailed, needing a bit more for

A tactile cushion of air. Not too heavy to get tiring, and unless you really have strong fingers, bottoming out doesn’t really happen. I don’t game much but I’d imagine these would work well for strategy games, awful for FPS games.

As someone who uses 55G Topres, I did not like any Cherry switch I have tried before (Blues, Browns, Reds, Blacks). I heard the Clears described as the most Topre like Cherry switch, liked the stiffer feel but it's too stiff. I also like buckling spr

I tend to type fairly heavy, and the MX Clears work extremely well for both gaming and typing for me. They're the most well-balanced switches I've used.
