A medium stiffness, tactile switch with a soft click. The 3rd generation of White Cherry MX switches started in 2007, and are very similar to Cherry MX Greens.

LOVE the weight on these, sound awesome but arent too loud, i have pretty big hands and the wieght of these switches make it easier for me not to fat finger keys when typing, and trust me i type on this keyboard all day long. i use it as a daily driver at work and at home for gaming. as far as gaming goes they are ok but you might want to go with something a tiny bit lighter and possibly linear.

These keys are really loud and take awhile to respond, get brown switches.

Flawless typing keys. Never had a more satisfying keyboard to type on. Gaming response time was a almost imperceptibly slower at first, but you acclimate quickly.

what cherry thought when creating whites "lets take a good switch and add so much lube that it gunks it up" i cant stand the factory lube cherry has and greens are only good for typing and with this amount of lube you are better of buying gaterons
