The Cherry MX Green is a heavier version of its MX Blue counterpart. It features the same actuating characteristics, like an audible and tactile click, but the actuation force is higher at 80 centinewtons. A Green MX switch is sometimes used for the spacebar in a Blue MX keyboard.

The only Cherry switch they can't clone or beat. I hope there's a MX2A version soon. If you play MMO and not FPS, this is it.

For gaming they feel good, but lose points for a friend in voice comms asking if I have an anti aircraft gun in my bedroom with me. For typing, I just can't get used to them. I think it's because the switch triggers higher up in the travel compared to blues, making it easier for me to "fat finger" multiple keys despite the increased actuation force. It definitely does take a little practice in learning how to type on these switches, but when you do it is extremely satisfying. Playing on them is no issue at all, On universal I gave them an 9. Nothing is absolutely perfect, and can always be improved, but these are very rewarding switches for that niche crowd who just has to have. Like myself. Much Love.
